We are also out of network providers for many other insurances. Check with you carrier to find out if we are covered.
Co-payments are collected at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made with the Office Manager. We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Debit Cards, and Medical Flexible Spending Accounts. Health insurance policies are an arrangement between the insurance carrier(s) and the patient. CMPT will prepare insurance forms, and will bill only as a courtesy to the patient. Depending on insurance coverage, patients may be responsible for a portion of their care. Contact your insurance carrier for details.

We also offer a self pay option for those who have expended their insurance benefits at another facility, have an insurance provider that is not contracted with our facility, have high deductible plans, are uninsured, or are seeking services not billable to their insurance provider (unrelated to an injury or condition- such as improving sports performance).

-
What can I expect at my physical therapy initial evaluation?Your initial evaluation will last 60-minutes and is typically conducted in a private treatment room. Your physical therapist will ask for information regarding your current injury and past injuries. We will then complete a thorough movement assessment. Based on our findings, and your goals, we will design an individualized treatment plan of care and get you started on the road to recovery.
-

What can I expect at PT treatment sessions?Individualized attention does not stop at your initial evaluation. At CMPT we do not believe in double booking, nor do we treat multiple patients simultaneously. Treatment sessions will last 30-60 minutes. This enables us to reduce your visits, which saves you time and money! We value placing the tools in your hands to get better and stay better. You will leave each PT session with an updated home exercise program. We understand you live a busy life, so we will work to select 3-5 exercises that will be most effective for you. Your PT will write and/or video the instructions for you to take home.
-
How frequently will I come to PT and how long will I need physical therapy? We are dedicated to returning our patients to optimal health as quickly as possible. The total number of treatment sessions depends on the individual, injury and their goals. We see some patients more than once a week, while others are seen once every 3 weeks.
-
Do any of the CMPT physical therapists specialize in the treatment of specific body parts or conditions? All of our clinicians are movement specialists who treat the body holistically and practice with the highest standard of care. Our staff also has a wide variety of specialties to help those in need of a more specific treatment. For example, we have therapists who specialize in: Vestibular Rehabilitation Pelvic Floor Therapy and Women’s Health Concussion Rehabilitation Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) with an emphasis on treating the spine
-
Will I see multiple physical therapists during my treatment at CMPT?At CMPT, you will typically see the same 1-2 therapists throughout your care. If after 4-5 treatment sessions you are not making the progress you hoped for, we will have one of our other therapists give a second opinion or join an upcoming treatment session!
-
What if I want to come to CMPT, but I live over 45 minutes away?We treat many patients who drive a distance to receive care at our facility. We will make accommodations to ensure you leave with enough exercises to accomplish your goals with less supervision. Many of our long distance patients also connect with us via CMPT Remote, our new Telehealth option. CMPT Remote is a great way to check in and make progressions to your home program without the hassle of driving to our clinic. We are also happy to collaborate with a clinician closer to your home.

What if I have already had PT for this injury at another clinic, but it still is not better?Due to our unique physical therapy approach, we have built the reputation of “Go to CMPT if you’ve already been to PT and it didn’t work.” Although we take this as a tremendous compliment, we also hope that patients come to us initially to avoid a more chronic injury. We are committed to finding the root cause of your injury and not just offering a “quick fix.” Please inform our office if you have had PT at another facility in the past year, as some insurance providers will require additional authorization.
